The Texans feature an outstanding Coaching Staff, all
with significant professional baseball experience and recognized success as
leading area Instructors. The focus of the staff is to encourage players to
put into practice the skills and techniques developed in their individual
training sessions, by building confidence, developing a proven approach, and
creating awareness of the game situation.

Each of the
members of our Coaching Staff have had successful professional or collegiate
playing or coaching careers, and are specifically interested in giving back
to baseball, sharing their enjoyment of the game, and helping young players
achieve the most of their baseball activities.
Our approach to Select Baseball is that you
get the most enjoyment and success from a combination of individual skill
development, learning from knowledgeable baseball people who share your
passion for the game, and participating in playing opportunities that allow
you to develop and demonstrate your skills and abilities.

 “Coach"
Carter is recognized as one of the Houston areas top hitting
instructors, with students from all of the areas leading
programs. Drawing on over 20 years of Coaching and playing
experience, including professional experience with the St. Louis
Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, and Houston Astros, Coach Carter
develops a fundamentally sound, situational aware, skill
prepared approach to hitting and fielding. Coach Carter leads our staff of
professional coaches, all of whom have achieved success at the
Professional or Collegiate ranks.

Williams is known as one of the areas leading pitching coaches.
Using his 14 years of professional baseball pitching experience
(including 8 years at the major league level with the Houston
Astros, Chicago White Sox, Detroit Tigers), Coach shares his
expertise in developing pitching mechanics and a sound mental
approach to pitching. |

Coach
Hudek has known success at all levels of baseball play,
including a Div. II College World Series Championship in 1988
and a MLB All-Star appearance for the Astros in 1994 (6 years in
the majors). He is now known for his outstanding instructional
approach helping to develop several very successful Youth
League, High School, College, and Professional pitchers. Coach
works to develop strong underlying mechanics, relevant pitching
skills, and an energetic attack approach to hitters. |
Coach Chandler returns home to Fort
Bend County after seven years of professional baseball
experience. He was the 17th round pick of the Kansas City
Royals in 2001, played college ball at Southern University (LA),
and was recently placed on the list of "Top FBISD Players of the
Last Ten Years." |

Coach
Baudoin joins the Texans following a very successful college
career at Texas Lutheran University, where he was named All-Conference
in 2006. |
Coach
Yelding was the 19th player taken in the 1984 MLB player draft,
and was known during his playing days for his outstanding base
running (he once stole 64 bases in an MLB season), great hands, and great
fielding. Coach Yelding is an outstanding instructor in these

Smith joins the Texans fresh from a successful career in college
(HBU, Oklahoma State) and professional baseball (Cincinnati
Reds). Coach Smith brings a players perspective on developing
the combination of skills, effort, and attitude to achieve
success with your given baseball abilities. |

Mouton brings his recognized success at the major league (11
years) and minor league levels (1993 PCL MVP) to students
interested in advancing their skills in all aspects of the game.
Recognized as a complete all-around player, Coach works to
develop the same in his students sharing his hitting, fielding,
and throwing insights. |
