Skill School (8U - 12U) |

Description: |
New for
the Fall 2009 Season, we are now offering weekly open
base training. For
those players who would like to continue playing with their
current Little League or Select Team but would like to benefit
from the specialty position practices with the professional Fort Bend Texans
coaches, we are offering a weekly Instructional Skills School.
The school will run on Tuesday nights for 1 1/2
hours, and will give players the opportunity to learn position
specific skills from coaches who have played the game at the
professional level. The school is also open to teams.

| Fees: |
Fees
for the school are $20 per practice (payable in monthly blocks),
plus an annual $55 registration fee. Players commit to the
school for one month at a time, and fees are not refundable.
Credit will be given for rainouts, but not for missed sessions.
Fees for Skills School players
who wish to participate in games are $25 per game ($50 per
double header.)

Uniform: |
Players
will be given a Fort Bend Texans practice tee shirt and cap, and
will be expected to wear the Fort Bend Texans uniform at
practice. Players will provide the pants, socks & belt
(any color.)

Depending upon player registrations, we currently expect to
field the following teams:
14 Red (Major/Premier)
14 Blue (AAA/Elite)
14 White (AA/Select) - 13 Year Old 8th Graders
13 Blue (AAA/Elite)
13 White (AA/Select)
12 Blue (AAA/Elite)
11 Blue (AA/Select) - Open Bases
11 White - Closed Bases |

Format: |
Planning for Sat/Sun league (8
season games plus tournament) and one weekend tournament.

Fall Fees: |
Open Base Divisions: $600;
$400 due at registration; $200 due by October 1
Closed Base Divisions:
$20 per practice; $75 per tournament
All Divisions: $55 Annual Registration Fee for players who
did not play in the spring/summer of 2009 |

Practices: |
Practices will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Saturdays/Sundays on non-game weekends. All practices will
be held at the West Sugar Land Jr/Sr field.
Please check your division web page regularly for a detailed layout of
each week's practice
schedule & Saturday practice time. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your
scheduled practice time for warm ups. Note
that schedules tend to change - please check back regularly!

Fall 2009 18U
& 17U Showcase Tournament Teams:

Description: |
The Showcase Team provides an
opportunity for 18U & 17U high school players to demonstrate their
baseball skills before college coaches & recruiters.
Joining with the Colt 45s, the players will participate in
pro-style tryouts and will also participate in tournament games.
Tournaments will be located throughout the state of Texas and
Louisiana on
weekends.

Description: |
This year we will field two 16U teams - a
shorter season to accommodate football players, and a longer season for
those who will play baseball exclusively.
The non-football 16U team will play in a fall league plus 2-3
November/December tournaments.
The football 16U team will play 2-3 tournaments plus practices in
November/December.
