Congratulations to Clay Joseck, Grant Page and Will Preston who were selected as National Top Prospects at the 2013 Perfect Game National Academic Showcase in Fort Myers, Florida. The National Academic Showcase requires a minimum 3.5 GPA and was attended by coaches from Harvard, Yale, Duke, Brown, and other high academic colleges from around the country. Quoting from the announcement:

Clay Joseck (C, 2014, Katy, TX) Strong projectable player who also pitches some. Has a quick transfer and release behind the plate with a quick arm and does a good job of blocking balls. Joseck makes hard contact at the plate and hits the ball to all fields.

Grant Page (RHP, 2014, Sugar Land, TX) Has a quick short arm action with a compact high leg kick delivery and works fast. Pitches from a 3/4 arm has arm side run on his fastball, has good depth on his curveball and a slider that has good bite to it. Page has good command of his pitches is aggressive on the mound and mixes his pitches enough to keep the hitters guessing.

Will Preston (RHP, 2014, Sugar Land, TX) Big strong kid with a deliberate delivery and attacks hitters with his fastball. Preston has good command of his pitches with good arm strength and the ball jumps out of his hands.

Congratulations to these three players as they are recognized nationally for their abilities in the classroom as well as on the field.
